ONE OF THE HOLIDAY-HALLOWEEN

                 

       Horror night in Halloween, what do you expect to do? Would you like to stay home, or hang out with friends. May be you could have some practical joke on someone you knew. What my plan is go to movie with my friends, Watch horror movie. I want to celebrate this holiday, because it is a historical and famous holiday in the world. Moreover, what is the history of Halloween, the activities in Halloween, and the symbols of Horror night.

       The first thing I want to talk about is Halloween's history. We may ask what is the origin of Halloween. It was stem from the traditional holiday of Celtic's culture. Celtic thought that in the last day of October was the beginning of winter. This is a very important day foe them. Also, Celtic believed people who died were back in that day. They called "feast of the dead", like the festival for dead. Although, Halloween is have been influenced through Christian, there was a traditionally believed that the souls from the dead wandered on the earth in the horror night, for gave them one last chance to revenge on their enemies before they moved to heaven or hell. People were afraid to be revenged, so they dressed up and disguise themselves to avoided the soul. Now, children are still playing guising for "trick or treating".

       Another point about Halloween is what activities usually do at horror night. There is a well-known thing-"trick or treating". It's a customary celebration for children on Halloween. Children go from one house to another with their own costumes, and asking for treats such as candy or snacks. They always say "Trick or treat?" when they asking for treats. Furthermore, the costumes is very important in Halloween. Some of costumes are traditionally modeled, such as monsters, ghosts, skeletons. Over time, costumes include many famous character in the films, like superhero, character in star wars. However, it's really general that disguise something on Halloween, whoever kids or adults.

       Symbols in Halloween is the last thing I want to talk about, as you can see the picture above this essay. It's called Jack-o'-lantern. The Jack-o'-lantern is made of pumpkin. The maker always emptied the inside of the pumpkin and carve a grimace on it. People usually but the lantern in front of their house. There is another symbol they use it to decorate their house, it is scarecrow. The main color around their house are purple and red. You could see what's the holiday from how and what they decorate the house.

       It's really helpful to comprehend a new culture through a traditional holiday like this, try to understand and join it.
